On September 4, 2010, Ross Bridge together with Alabama Teen Challenge and Brookwood Medical Center will be hosting the 2nd annual Ross Bridge 8k Run/Walk. Proceeds from the events will benefit Alabama Teen Challenge. Additionally, Ross Bridge will host a health exposition, the Mercedes Kids Run kick-off and a Fresh Market event, making this a don’t miss event. Registration begins at 7 a.m. and the race begins at 8 a.m.
For nearly 50 years Teen Challenge has been providing quality, low cost recovery programs for individuals of all ages. With four facilities serving greater Alabama (more than 140 residential beds) and access to more than 5000 beds nationally, ATC is part of one of America’s oldest, largest and most successful faith-based drug and alcohol restoration programs.
ATC provides not only a safe and loving facilities to men and women struggling with life-controlling problems, but the long term Biblical counseling and treatment they need to turn their lives around in a more positive direction. “We believe that these special individuals need care, concern, and education in a protected setting.
