Education, Training and Experience
Dr. Watkins is a native of Birmingham and graduated from the University of Alabama. He subsequently earned a Master of Science in Biochemistry and Physiology at the University of Alabama in Birmingham and the Doctor of Medicine at the University of Alabama School of Medicine.
Dr. Watkins completed the Internal Medicine residency at Baptist Health System in Birmingham and is Board Certified in Internal Medicine. Prior to coming to MedHelp, Dr. Watkins practiced Internal Medicine and Geriatrics at Trinity Medical Center.
Biography
When not practicing Medicine, Dr. Watkins enjoys gardening and rebuilding personal computers. Dr. Watkins and his family are members of Hunter Street Baptist Church.
